Paul Prieur & Fils is a family-owned winery located in the Loire Valley, France. Established in 1899 by founder Paul Prieur, the winery is now run by great-grandson Jean-Michel Prieur. The winery covers 35 hectares of vineyards in the appellations of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, specializing in Sauvignon Blanc. The winery practices sustainable and eco-friendly methods, including natural pest control, cover crops, and solar panels. The wines have won numerous international awards and are highly regarded for their balance and elegance. The estate is now under the management of Luc Prieur, who cultivates the vines in an artisanal way, following organic practices. The winery carries out natural vinifications, with minimal intervention and no sulfite additions before fermentation. The wines are aged in stainless steel or wooden vats, with some whites rarely filtered, and reds filled in open vats with long macerations.
